Mayor of West Suburban Aurora Is Running For Governor

No need to wonder anymore -- the mayor of the second largest city in the state of Illinois is running for governor of Illinois.

Mayor Richard Irvin made it official on MLK Day and not only did he make the announcement, he also launched a website which states his running mate will be State Rep. Avery Bourne.

The Republican candidate didn't want to draw too much attention to his candidacy saying Monday was all about Dr. King, but he did say a lot of information about his campaign will be coming out later.
