New drivers in Georgia will be able to obtain their licenses much easier for the time being due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
All new drivers need is a parent's approval per an order signed by Governor Brian Kemp, according to a local news station.
No road test or written test will be required.
All other requirements will still need to be met, including 40 hours of supervised driving.
The tests will be suspended until Georgia's state of emergency is lifted, according to the order.
