Sean "Diddy" Combs was out and about without a care in the world amid his mounting legal issues.
In footage obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, June 12, the disgraced mogul was spotted in the streets of Los Angeles speaking to an unidentified male. After the cameraman caught his attention, Diddy flashed a smile, threw up an L, and showed him some prayer hands. His voice seemed a bit hoarse but other than that, he seemed perfectly normal. In another clip, the Bad Boy founder could be seen chatting it up with a woman on the sidewalk. He smiled and hugged her before the clip ended.
It's the first time Diddy has been spotted out since he attempted to lay low in Florida following the raids on his two homes earlier this year. He's done well to shield himself despite the array of updates and allegations that have come out in the past few weeks alone. In the aftermath of the devastating footage of him assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie, a grand jury in New York City is set to hear from witnesses in preparation for a potential criminal indictment. Nothing has been confirmed just yet, but prosecutors want to ensure their case is "bulletproof" before they file charges.
In addition to a looming indictment, more women have come forward with allegations of sexual assault including a former model and a fashion student. Both of them claimed he sexually assaulted them in the early 2000s. Several former employees have also made allegations of physical and verbal abuse during their time working for his various companies.
There's also been plenty of backlash from entities he used to be affiliated with. Last week, Howard University revoked the honorary degree they gave him in 2014 and ended the $1 million scholarship they started in his name. Diddy also sold off his remaining shares for REVOLT, which officially severed his ties to the television/media platform he founded in 2013.
