The Bibb County Board of Education held a called virtual meeting to shine light on the current plans for students, staff, and teachers that will return to the school district in the fall.
The meeting shared that school will start after Labor Day this year in September opposed to the traditional August start date.
There will also no longer be the option for students to take hybrid learning courses that consist of half virtual and half traditional teaching models.
Instead students may sign up for all in person classes or only remote learning classes.
