Rapper Fredo Santana, who is a cousin of Chief Keef, has passed away following a fatal seizure at only 27 years old.

TMZ reports that Fredo's girlfriend discovered him dead on the floor after she went over to his Los Angeles home at approximately 11:30 PM on Friday night (January 19th).

According to TMZ, Santana, who leaves behind an 8-month-old son, was suffering from liver and kidney problems for months, which he has been previously hospitalized for before. The rapper has also been open about his addiction to lean, a concoction that has been known to trigger seizures.

Fredo's friends in the hip hop community have already taken to social media to share their grief over the 27-year-old's death. Drake shared a photo on Instagram with Santana writing "Rest In Peace Santana" along with several crying emojis, while Twista also wrote on Instagram, "I will always remember @fredosantanassr as a kid from Chicago who escaped the violence, lived his dream, raised a beautiful family, and showed us he did all of this his way. #RIP #fredosantanna my condolences to the family."
