Drake's New Single 'Toosie Slide' Is Dropping This Week

Amid the coronavirus quarantine, Drake is dropping new music and it is coming sooner than you think.

On Tuesday (March 31), the hip-hop titan announced that a new single called "Toosie Slide" is set for release on Thursday. The track was reportedly produced by OZ, who helped helm "Highest in the Room" and "Sicko Mode." Hype for the song started early when social media influencer Toosie used it as part of some quarantine choreography. Thankfully, it has worked in the rapper's favor as folks have started to dance to the track days before its release. "Gotta dance but it’s really on some street sh*t/ I’ma show you how to get it, it go right foot up/ Left foot slide/ Left foot up/ Right foot slide/ Basically I'm saying either way we ‘bout to slide/ Can’t let this one slide/ Don’t you wanna dance with me?" Drake sings throughout the song's recent snippets.

"Toosie Slide" one of the many Drake songs currently making the rounds, including Future's "Life Is Good" and Lil Yachty's "Oprah's Bank Account."

Earlier this week, Drake also took to Instagram to get a little personal with his followers by sharing the first photos of his son, Adonis. "What is most important for you right now is to connect to your own inner light," he wrote. "This will create the biggest opening of all. Trust that you have all of the power within to make this happen, and in order to do that connect to the people and things that bring you a lot of joy."
