The Georgia Department of Corrections will be hosting a hiring event next Wednesday.
The event is taking place at Oconee Fall Line Technical College Atrium located on Deepstep Road in Sandersville Georgia on December 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Officials say there will be onsite interviews, PT, and Accuplacer testing. Eligible candidates will also receive a hiring package on the same day as the event, according to a release.
Attendees should bring the following items to the event:
- Completed State of GA Application – Available online (blank copies will be available on site)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- HS Diploma/GED transcript
- SAT/ACT/Compass/Asset/Accuplacer scores
- If POST certified, a copy of his or her POST profile
In addition, all attendees should dress for their interview but bring loose-fitting/athletic attire for the physical fitness test, according to the release.
