Kodak Black Arrested On Seven Counts Including Grand Theft & Child Neglect

Kodak Black was arrested on Thursday (Jan. 18) night in a police raid by the Broward Sheriff's Office and remains in custody, Florida's local 10 news reports.

The news outlet claims: "Records show the 20-year-old rapper is facing charges of grand theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana, child neglect, two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon and two counts of probation violation."

There's also IG Live video of cops raiding Black's home and making the arrest. "Your phone's part of the search warrant. You're not going to get your phone back," a cop told him in the clip. This video was later posted elsewhere besides IG Live and has since gone viral. See it below.

This isn't the first time that Black has been arrested. "In 2015, he was arrested in Pompano Beach on charges of robbery, battery, two counts of false imprisonment of a child under 13 years of age, three counts of false imprisonment of an adult, driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana," local 10 news reports. He was also arrested twice in 2016 for multiple charges and indicted on sexual conduct charges in 2017.
